Yes I know… that sounded quite like a sexual experience… And I can’t really say that it wasn’t anything like it… This past Saturday in Glasgow at The Arches for Inside Out I had the BEST, I repeat, THE BEST GIG EVER FOR ME SO FAR IN THE UK! It was just absolutely incredible! I mean, I never really play the UK that much when I tour Europe, not like the amount of times I can play in Spain in one year for example, and I really have to admit that I had under-estimated the whole possibility of ever having a gig, in the UK, so sweaty and so full of screaming people and with so many hands in the air like I do get in Spain. The thing is that it was only my second time playing in that part of the United Kingdom, so I didn’t know at all what was awaiting me there. And shame on me for thinking that, but My God am I ever happy to have played there!! I would have never thought I would have got such an intense reaction, with so many people screaming my name, wanting to talk to me, just dancing and standing by me, smiling and being so happy instead of just looking at me as if I was an alien because I play such tough Techno beats and such anti-candy music! I mean, it was all good. Really, WOW! And it was funny too, because I have never read so many messages on so many different mobile phones handed to me by so many people in one single night, all together! I literally have spent the entire time of my set, between mixing non-stop of course, reading texts on phones and giving the phones back to then finish a mix and grab another phone coming my way, to then read another message, and so on… The best one of the night was from some guy that handed me his phone with this text: “Fancy a three-some later on?” HA HA! Oh, let me tell you, after reading that I got quite scared to read anything else coming my way! HA HA HA!! Anyway. All this to say that it was just a fabulous unforgettable rocking night and I can’t wait to go back! I want to thank Duncan and Simon and all their friends and partners for making this night such a great night. I really had a good time and we’ve already agreed to a few more dates this year, of which already confirmed is August 28th! It’s going to be so fun and I can’t wait to just go back there and demolish all those brick walls with my so-dear-music! 🙂 Thank you Scotland… that was really a good one!
